First published shot in like 2 years.

Well after almost two years I got an assignment to shoot some photos for a local magazine. The March/April issue of Northwoods Woman is on the newsstand's with a cover story on Beverly Everett who is the conductor of the Bemidji Symphony Orchestra and that is the story for which my images were used. The cover shot and a similar shot inside the magazine were both lit pretty simply, one SB-800 camera left fired into a Chimera softbox. The background was just ambient light which was pretty bright, allowing a shutter speed of about 1/60th of a sec. at f/2.8
Nikon D300 w/17-55mm nikkor lens.
